This is a hybrid role based in Athens, combining in-person collaboration at our office in Nea Ionia with flexibility for remote work.
Due to the nature of our client base, daily communication, workshops, documentation, and business analysis are conducted in Greek. For this reason, this role is open only to Greek speakers / candidates with native-level Greek communication skills.
The Role
We are looking for an Python Developer & Odoo Technical Consultant to take an active role in the implementation, customization, and support of Odoo ERP projects for Greek businesses.
This is a hybrid technical and functional role. You will work closely with clients to understand business needs, translate requirements into functional solutions, configure Odoo modules, and support custom development, integrations, automations, and reporting needs.
In practice, you will be the bridge between business requirements and the Odoo platform — combining functional understanding with hands-on technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements with clients in Greek.
- Map business processes and identify gaps between current workflows and the Odoo solution.
- Configure Odoo modules to support each client’s business processes.
- Write clear functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop, customize, and extend Odoo modules when needed.
- Work on integrations, data migration, automation, reporting, and technical improvements.
- Support UAT, user training, go-live preparation, and post-go-live operations.
- Collaborate with the internal delivery team to ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable ERP implementations.
- Use AI tools for documentation, analysis, scripting, and coding support — always with human review, validation, and ownership.
Must Have
- Greek native speaker / native-level Greek communication skills — this is required due to our Greek client base.
- Good English communication skills.
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, or business software implementation.
- Experience with Python development, scripting, automation, or backend customization.
- Understanding of ERP business processes such as sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing, accounting flows, CRM, and reporting.
- Ability to translate business needs into structured functional and technical requirements.
- Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, UAT, go-live support, or post-go-live support.
- Strong communication skills, structured thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and internal technical teams.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Odoo development, custom modules, views, models, security rules, reports, or workflows.
- Experience with Odoo.sh, PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb, REST APIs, or external integrations.
- Familiarity with the Greek accounting and tax environment, including myDATA / AADE.
- Experience with a Greek ERP/CRM vendor, software house, or implementation partner.
- Knowledge of data migration, reporting, BI, or automation projects.
- Accounting, finance, logistics, retail, or business operations background.
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
